Tap a door to ask about that room. We update the doors every Friday, and a free day isn’t held for you until we offer it in writing.
Each fee covers the full day with meals, nappies and sunscreen. If you’re eligible, the Child Care Subsidy is paid to us and comes off it, and you pay the gap. How the subsidy works
What a day costs, before and after the subsidy
One fee per room for the full day, 6.30am to 6.30pm, whatever time you drop off.
- Wrens6 weeks to 2 years$158a day
- Possums2 to 3 years$152a day
- Kookaburras3 to 5 years$146a day
Included: breakfast, lunch and three snacks cooked here, nappies and sunscreen.
How the subsidy brings it down
- The Child Care Subsidy is means tested. Services Australia decides whether you’re eligible and how much you get, not us.
- It’s paid to us and comes straight off your fee. You pay the rest, the gap.
- It’s worked out per hour of the session, on whichever is lower: our hourly fee or the government’s hourly cap.
Some families also get NSW fee relief, taken off after the subsidy. We’ll tell you if it applies to your child.
The subsidy pays for care; it doesn’t hold a place. The NDIS doesn’t pay childcare fees.
- Away days
- Booked days are charged when your child is away, including public holidays.
- Deposit
- Two weeks’ fees when you accept a place, taken off your last invoice.
- Changes
- Two weeks’ notice in writing to change days or leave.
- Closed
- Between Christmas and New Year, with no fees for those days.

Keeping children safe
- Every educator holds a Working with Children Check, verified before their first shift.
- No personal phones around children. Educators leave theirs in a locker.
- Photos only on centre tablets, under our image policy, with your written permission.
- Only adults you’ve named can collect your child.
We’re approved under the National Quality Framework and follow the NSW Child Safe Standards. The NSW Early Learning Commission regulates us.
Every approved centre’s quality rating is published on the national register. Look us up there rather than taking our word for it. A concern? Tell Rania, or contact the Commission directly.
Meals, naps, nappies and pick-up
What’s included, what to pack, and how the day runs.
What we provide
Breakfast until 8am, morning tea, a cooked lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. Nappies and sunscreen too.
Allergies and medicine
Tell us before the first day and bring the action plan from your doctor. The kitchen adjusts your child’s meals, and their room keeps the plan close. We give medicine only with your written authority, in its original packaging.
Who can collect
Only adults named on your enrolment, with photo ID the first time we meet them. Someone new at short notice? Call us first. Running late? Call us too; an educator stays with your child.
Sleep and rest
Babies sleep when they need to, in cots in a quiet sleep room. Older children rest after lunch on their own bed, and nobody is made to sleep.
What to pack
Two changes of clothes, a hat, a water bottle and a comforter if they sleep with one. For babies, labelled bottles of formula or expressed milk.
Learning through play, room by room
We follow the Early Years Learning Framework, the approved national framework for early learning. Day to day, that means play planned around what your child is into.
Wrens 6 weeks to 2
Songs, books and floor time, on each baby’s own feeds and sleeps. One educator to every four children, the national ratio for under twos.
Possums 2 to 3
Sand, water, paint and climbing. New words, taking turns, and doing more for themselves, like pouring their own water.
Kookaburras 3 to 5
Building, stories, the vegetable garden and counting in play, with more say in what they do and who with.
The preschool program, in the year before school
Leilani runs it in Kookaburras as part of the normal day, at no extra fee. Children practise the things school asks of them: listening in a group, packing their own bag, having a go at writing their name.
We won’t promise reading or writing by a set age. We’ll tell you honestly how your child is going, and pass notes to their school if you’d like us to.
From tour to first day. A tour isn’t a place.
Nobody is promised a place by a tour, a waitlist or a subsidy. A place is yours once we’ve offered it and you’ve accepted.
Book a tour
About 30 minutes with Rania, on a weekday morning or afternoon. Bring your child if you like.
Join the waitlist
For your child’s room and the days you need. It’s free, and it doesn’t hold a place.
We offer a place
When your days are free in your child’s room, we offer it in writing. You have three working days to say yes.
Enrol
Through our secure parent app: the care agreement, immunisation record, health details and your CRN, so the subsidy can apply.
Settle in
Two or three short visits together before the first full day, with the educators your child will see every day.
Questions families ask
Can my baby start at six weeks?
Yes, in Wrens. Many families join the waitlist before their baby is born, so they’re in line for the days they’ll need when they go back to work.
How will my child settle in?
Slowly, with you there at first. The same educators greet your child each day, comfort toys are welcome, and we follow your routines at home as closely as we can.
What if my child is unwell?
We’ll call you if your child becomes unwell during the day. Our illness policy says when children need to stay home and when they can come back, and we’ll give you a copy when you enrol.
Can you support my child’s extra needs?
Talk to Rania before your child starts, so we can plan together. Where it helps, we can apply for inclusion support for the room; that’s extra help for the room, not a one-to-one aide.
The NDIS doesn’t pay childcare fees, but with your OK your child’s therapists can talk with their room educators.
Is the preschool program extra?
No. It runs in Kookaburras as part of the normal day, covered by the daily fee.
Do you take photos of the children?
Only on centre tablets, and only with your written permission. Photos shared privately with you in the parent app and photos used on this website need separate permission, and you can say no to either.
