What you’d work on
Where people often start: six sessions over about three months.
You set the agenda. These are starting points, not set courses.
An interview coming up? Paolo runs practice interviews and reviews the CV you’ve written. He doesn’t write CVs.
Coaching is for a work question you want to act on. It isn’t therapy or treatment, and Paolo isn’t a counsellor or psychologist.
Not sure? Say so in the fit conversation. If coaching isn’t the right thing, Paolo will tell you, and suggest where to go.
A short call to see whether coaching suits what you’re working on. It’s a check on fit, not a session.
What it isn’t: a coaching session. There’s nothing to buy on the call. If you’d like to go ahead, you decide afterwards, in your own time.
Twenty minutes to check coaching is the right thing, at no charge.
What you want to work on, the sessions, the total fee and how to pause or stop. If your employer pays, what they’ll see.
In the studio, on a walk, or by video. You bring the agenda; Paolo asks questions, and you leave with a next step you chose.
Halfway and at the end: is it helping? If not, you change course or stop.
Career and leadership coach. He sees every client himself.
A real coach names the credential they hold, and you can check it on the ICF Find a Coach directory. Paolo is fictional, so it won’t find him.
Each price is the total, including GST.
Packages are invoiced when you sign your agreement. Email check-ins get a reply within two working days.
Before the first session, you, your employer and Paolo sign a three-way agreement. It sets out what your employer will see.
If your manager asks Paolo how it’s going, he’ll point them back to you.
The only exceptions are ones the law requires, or a serious risk to someone’s safety, and they’re written into the agreement.
Arranging coaching for someone on your team? Call (03) 5550 0638 or email hello@quietspur.example and we’ll set up the agreement.
Coaching looks ahead at a work question you want to act on. It isn’t counselling or treatment. If your health or wellbeing is the main concern, a counsellor, psychologist or your GP is the place to start.
A mentor usually tells you how they did it. Paolo mostly asks questions, so the plan you leave with is yours.
No. Paolo reviews the CV you’ve written and helps you sharpen it, and runs practice interviews with you. He doesn’t write CVs.
Coaching is a private fee. We don’t claim from Medicare or health funds, and NDIS funding can’t be used for career coaching.
Some employers pay for coaching. See when your employer pays.
No. Quiet Spur coaches adults only.
Say so, at any session. There’s a review halfway through every package. You can change what you’re working on, pause, or stop, and unused sessions are refunded pro rata.
