Thinking about your skin, lines or facial balance? Start with a consultation with our registered team.

Our registered team
Every practitioner is named here with their registration number, so you can check it yourself on the public register.
Dr Olivia Hartmann
Cosmetic Doctor · Medical director
Ahpra MED0001234567
MBBS (UNSW). Medical practitioner with general registration. 14 years in medicine, the last 8 in cosmetic medicine.
Sees every client who comes to us about expression lines or facial volume, and signs off every plan the nurses carry out.
Sophie Laurent
Registered Nurse
Ahpra NMW0001234568
Bachelor of Nursing (UTS). 9 years nursing, 6 in cosmetic medicine, working under Dr Hartmann’s supervision.
Runs most of our follow-up reviews, so she sees how treatments settle over the weeks afterwards.
Jae-won Park
Registered Nurse
Ahpra NMW0001234569
Bachelor of Nursing (University of Sydney). 7 years nursing, 4 in cosmetic medicine, working under Dr Hartmann’s supervision.
Also works two days a week in a hospital emergency department. Speaks Korean.
Tahlia Brooks
Dermal Therapist
No Ahpra number: not a registered profession
Bachelor of Health Science (Dermal Therapies). Peels, laser hair reduction and light treatments only.
Dermal therapy isn’t one of the professions Ahpra registers. Tahlia carries out skin treatments after your consultation, and never anything that needs a doctor or nurse.
If you come to us about expression lines or facial volume, your consultation is with Dr Hartmann herself, in person. Our registered nurses only carry out treatment plans she has written and signed. Nobody is treated on the strength of a phone call or an online form.
If something doesn’t look or feel right
Call us. In opening hours you’ll speak to one of the team that day. For two weeks after a treatment you also have an after-hours number that reaches Dr Hartmann or the doctor covering for her. Follow-up reviews are included, and if a problem can’t be fixed here, we arrange for you to see someone who can.
Training
Dr Hartmann runs training for the nurses every month, and everyone who treats clients holds a current advanced life support certificate.
Professional memberships.Dr Hartmann is a member of the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia. Sophie Laurent and Jae-won Park are members of the Australian College of Nursing.
What people come to us about
Start with what’s bothering you
Each has its own page covering what’s involved, the risks, and what recovery is like.
A lot of people tell us their biggest worry is looking overdone. We aim for natural-looking results that suit you, and individual results vary. This is how we work.
01
A consultation comes first
Forty five minutes, in person. For expression lines or facial volume you’ll see Dr Hartmann. For skin concerns it’s Dr Hartmann or one of our registered nurses. We ask what’s bothering you and why now, look at your skin properly, and talk through every option, including leaving things alone.
02
Every risk is explained
Side effects, recovery time, what could go wrong and how likely it is. You get it in writing too, so you’re not relying on memory later.
03
You go home and think about it
We never treat anyone at their first visit. You leave with a written plan and an exact quote, and you book treatment only if and when you want to.
04
You know who is treating you
You’ll know their name before you agree to anything, and it’s the same person each time unless you ask for someone else.
05
Aftercare is part of it
A follow-up review is included, usually about two weeks after treatment. Until then you also have an after-hours number that reaches a doctor.
06
Sometimes we say no
Part of every assessment is making sure a treatment is right for you, and that you want it for your own reasons. If we don’t think something will suit you, or it isn’t the right time, we’ll say so. Sometimes that means we don’t treat at all.

Changing your consultation. Move or cancel it up to 24 hours ahead at no charge.
Why some prices aren’t listed
Some treatments can only be quoted after a consultation, because the law doesn’t allow them to be advertised. You’ll get an exact written quote before anything goes ahead, and you’re under no obligation to proceed.
You talk about what’s bothering you and what you’d hope to change. Your practitioner looks at your skin and face, asks about your health and any medications, and explains each option, including leaving things as they are.
You go home with a written plan, the risks for each option, and an exact quote. No treatment happens at a first visit.
How long do results last?
It depends a lot on the treatment and on you. We’ll give you realistic timeframes for anything we suggest, and we’ll tell you upfront if something needs repeating to keep its effect. Individual results vary.
Is there any downtime?
Recovery depends on the treatment. Some leave a little redness for a day. Others mean swelling or bruising for a week or so before you’d want to be in photos. We’ll explain recovery and comfort for your plan at your consultation, before you agree to anything.
Who will actually do my treatment?
You’ll know their name before you agree to anything. Dr Hartmann or one of our registered nurses carries out any treatment that needs a medical assessment. Tahlia, our dermal therapist, carries out skin treatments such as peels and laser hair reduction. Everyone’s registration details are listed above.
How much will it cost?
The consultation is $150, and skin treatment prices are listed above. Other treatments are quoted in writing at your consultation, so you know the exact figure before you decide. None of it is covered by Medicare or private health insurance.
What if I’m unhappy with the result?
Tell us. A follow-up review is included in your treatment, and we’ll look at it properly with you. If something can be corrected, we’ll explain how. If it can’t be fixed here, we’ll arrange for you to see someone who can.
If you’d rather take it further, how to make a formal complaint is set out at the bottom of this page.

Reviews
Our reviews are on Google rather than here, because the law doesn’t let health practitioners use patient testimonials in their own advertising. We don’t reply to reviews either, since a reply can confirm that someone is our client.
We’d like to use the Meta Pixel (for Facebook and Instagram) and the TikTok Pixel. They send details of your visit, such as the pages you view, to Meta and TikTok, who can use them to choose the ads you see. As we’re a health clinic, that could reveal an interest in cosmetic treatment. Both stay off unless you allow them, and never run on our booking pages.
