Karen M.Woodend, outside and verandah

Tess and the crew did our place inside and out. Here at 7 every morning and the verandah looks better than when we bought it. Took a bit longer cause of the rain but she kept us posted the whole way.

Michael T.Newtown, three bedrooms and hall

VJ walls with about 6 layers of old paint. They tested for lead first which I didnt even know was a thing. Really tidy, furniture covered every day.

Priya S.Coalfalls, stairs and battens

Quote came in writing two days later, no pressure at all. Battens and stairs done in a week. Would use again.

Five years, in writing

Every job comes with a written five-year workmanship warranty. It sits alongside your rights under Queensland law, not in place of them.

Built before 1970?

Most Queenslanders were, and paint from those years often has lead in it. So we test before anyone sands.

Questions

Is the quote really free?

Yes. Tess comes out, looks, and sends a written, itemised quote. There’s nothing to pay and nothing to sign until you say yes.

Do I need to move the furniture or be home?

No. We move it to the middle of each room and cover it. You don’t need to be home once we have a key or a code, and each room is out of use for a day or two.

How long will it take?

Most single rooms take a day or two, a whole interior one to two weeks, and an outside repaint one to three weeks, depending on prep and the weather.

What paint do you use, and how many coats?

A primer or sealer on bare timber, then two top coats of a premium acrylic, low odour inside. Tess names the paint in your quote. Product warranties come from the paint maker.

Do you paint roofs?

No, we stick to walls, timber, verandahs, stairs and battens. We can recommend a roof painter.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Tess Navarro holds QBCC licence 1555016 for painting and decorating, and we carry public liability insurance. The certificate is yours on request.

What if something isn’t right after we finish?

Call or text Tess and she’ll come and look. Our written warranty covers our workmanship for five years.
