Nala hates the car and still trots in happily. Steph rang the next day to see how she was going.

We saw Dr Anh for six years. Same vet every visit, and she remembered Tonka’s whole history without looking it up.

Our cat is a nightmare at the vet and they never made me feel bad about it. Straight into the cat room, lights down. My fur baby was actually calm.

These come straight from our Google profile, word for word. We don’t choose which ones show and we don’t take the bad ones down.

A calmer visit, especially if your cat hates the carrier

Most cats find the vet stressful, and plenty of owners put the visit off because of it. We have built the clinic around that.

Cat carriers on a raised shelf and a low bench, in a quiet corner by the window
Our cat-only waiting area, with carriers on a raised shelf away from dogs.
  • A separate cat waiting area. Carriers go up on a shelf, away from the floor and out of sight of the dogs.
  • We take our time. Some patients need ten minutes on the floor before anyone touches them. That is fine, and it is built into the appointment.
  • Tell us beforehand. If your pet is anxious, say so when you book. We will give you a quiet time of day and send you a few things to try at home first.
  • You can wait in the car. Some dogs settle better outside. We will text you when we are ready.

Why people stay with us: we are independent, which means the person who sees your pet this year is the person who saw them last year.

Dr Anh and Biscuit, her retired racing greyhound. Most of us met our own animals through the clinic.
  • 23 years on Showground Road. Same building, same phone number, and some clients have been with us the whole time.
  • You can ask for the same vet. Pick them when you book, and we will keep your pet with them wherever we can.
  • Every vet and nurse here is registered. Our vets are on the NSW Veterinary Practitioners Board register and our nurses are qualified.
