You only pay if you go ahead. See the thinking

Three steps. Only the last one costs anything.

  1. Day 0. Free

    Send your address.

Your current website, your name, email and mobile. Then pick a time with Joseph.

  2. The next business day. Free

See your new homepage, on a 15-minute call with Joseph.

You see what your customers would see, before you pay anything. The link stays live for 7 days.

  3. Within 7 days. From $249 a month +GST

    Decide on the full site.

Say yes and we do the rest. Your first month is charged when you approve the design. Live within 14 days of sign-off, or that month back.

More jobs booked on hot days, and fewer “how much is a call-out?” calls.

What we look at for an air conditioning business, and what it changes for you.

Why it’s free

It’s the quickest way for you to judge our work, and it’s the first step of building your site anyway. If you go ahead, the rebuild becomes your homepage.

  • Hot-day callers book instead of scrolling

The job chooser and the call button in the first screen.

  • Fewer “how much is a call-out?” calls

Call-out, service and install prices as totals, with what each includes.

  • Customers trust you before you knock

The state licence and both ARC licences, each named for what it is.

  • Cool room calls still reach you at night

A separate after-hours line for kitchens and shops.

  • Install quotes arrive with photos

The unit, the room and the suburb in every request.

A site that gets you the call on a 41 degree day, with the prices and both licences in plain view.

Scroll to watch a homepage rebuilt, then see why each piece is where it is.

An illustrative before. The practice is fictional.Gauge & Flare Air Conditioning is a fictional practice. Open the Live Example (opens in a new tab)

  1. A site-builder page, with a pop-up on top.

    • A mailing list pop-up covers the page before anyone has read it.
    • Booking is somewhere under More.
    • The phone number and the hours are at the bottom, as plain text.
  2. The same business, rebuilt.

What was worth keeping is kept. Everything else is rebuilt around it.

  3. The job chooser is a remote.

    • Its screen reads 41° outside and 24° inside.
    • Four mode buttons: not cooling, service and clean, new split, ducted.
    • Each one opens the quote on that job, with the after-hours line just below.
  4. What each job costs, before they ring.

    • The call-out, and that it comes off the repair.
    • Service and installs as totals including GST.
    • What a standard install covers, and what’s quoted on top.
  5. Both licences, named for what they are.

    • The NSW contractor licence with the licensee’s name.
    • The ARC trading authorisation and handling licence, labelled.
    • Who runs new power, and a link to check any licence.
  6. The maker’s warranty and yours, kept apart.

    • Consumer guarantees sit above everything.
    • The brand’s warranty is the brand’s.
    • The workmanship warranty covers the install.
  7. Real installs, with the suburb.

    • Each photo says where it was and what was done.
    • Splits, ducted and a cool room, inside and out.
    • No unit badges, house numbers or customers in shot.
  8. The rating up top, the reviews below.

    • The Google rating and count sit under the headline.
    • Three reviews about specific jobs, with first names and suburbs.
    • Plain words, as customers write them.

Written inside the rules air conditioning businesses work under. Every site shows the state licence the way your state asks, names the ARC handling licence and trading authorisation for what they are, and claims no more than your licence covers (a split system licence stops at single head splits).

Pricing and questions

When it goes live

  • It looks like your business. Designed from your free rebuild, never a template.
  • You never have to write a word. Joseph writes every page, and you approve it.
  • Fewer people leave before they enquire. Built for phones first, and fast to load.
  • You wake up to bookings and enquiries instead of voicemails. Your booking or enquiry system, linked.
  • Enquiries come in with what you need to reply. Contact and enquiry forms.
  • You don’t lose the enquiries you already get. Every old page redirected, so Google keeps finding you.
  • One less thing to worry about with the regulator. Written with your profession’s advertising rules in mind.

Every month after

  • If something breaks, it’s ours to fix. Hosting, security and daily backups.
  • You send a change and it’s done. Edits whenever you need them.
  • You can see what the site brings in. Counted calls and a performance dashboard.
  • People searching for you land on the right page. Page titles, descriptions and a sitemap, set up.
  • You never chase your old web person again. We deal with your old host and booking provider.
  • It doesn’t look dated in three years. A design review every year, if you want one.

Yours to keep. Your domain and content are yours from day one. The design files and a static export of your site are yours at month 12, or sooner if you pay off the rest of the build. Terms, clause 13

Switching in

You forward two or three logins: your domain, your current host, and your booking or enquiry system if you use one. We move the content, connect that system, set up redirects so Google keeps sending people to the right pages, and put it live. Your part is under an hour, total.

Switching back

Your old site stays where it is for 30 days after the new one goes live. If you’d rather have it back, for any reason, tell us and we point your domain at it the same day. You’re refunded in full and the care plan stops.

The advertising rules

Written inside the rules air conditioning businesses work under.

Air conditioning is licensed twice: by the state for the work and its wiring, and by the Australian Refrigeration Council for handling refrigerant. In NSW the contractor licence number has to appear in all advertising, and a website counts.

  • The state licence, on every page

Licensee name and number wherever your state requires them, as in NSW, Queensland and South Australia.

  • Two licences, labelled

The ARC handling licence is the technician’s; the trading authorisation is the business’s.

  • Ratings with their zone

Star ratings always name the climate zone: hot, average or cold.

  • Prices as totals

Call-outs and installs including GST, with what a standard install covers.

You stay responsible for what your business advertises, and we make it easier to get right.

All Questions, Answered

The free rebuild

Why is it free?

It’s the fastest way for you to judge our work without committing to anything, and it’s step one of your site if you go ahead. The rebuild becomes your homepage.

Is it just a template?

No. It’s built from your business’s own services, prices, licences and service area, on a structure designed for air conditioning businesses. Joseph reviews every decision before it reaches you, and walks you through each one on the call.

Do I have to talk to anyone?

Yes, briefly. Joseph walks you through your new homepage on a 15-minute video call, and you tell him what you’d change.

What happens to the rebuild if I say no?

Nothing. Keep the ideas and use them however you like. The preview link closes after 7 days, and we don’t publish it or show it to anyone without your permission.

We already have a web developer. Does that matter?

Not for the rebuild. You can use it to see what’s possible before deciding who builds it. If you go ahead with us, we handle the move and your developer doesn’t need to be involved.

Going ahead

Will it work with our job management software?

Quote requests go where you already work, whether that’s ServiceM8, Tradify, simPRO, AroFlo or Fergus, or straight to your email and phone, with the customer’s photos attached. We confirm how yours connects before you approve your design.

How much work is this for me?

Send your address, see it on a 15-minute call, say yes or no. If yes, forward the logins we ask for. We do the rest, including talking to your current host or job software provider if something needs untangling.

What happens to my current site?

Nothing, for 30 days. It stays live on its existing host so it’s there if you want it back. After that you can cancel the old hosting, or we’ll do it with you.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

We map every page on your old site to the right page on the new one before we switch, so links and search results keep landing somewhere sensible. Rankings move for all sorts of reasons, but a redirect map is what stops a move from being one of them.

What if I don’t like it once it’s live?

Say so within 30 days. We point your domain back at your old site, refund your website fees in full, and stop the care plan. No form, no reason required.

What’s the catch with the 12 months?

The first year pays off the build in monthly instalments, so there’s no large upfront cost. After 12 months the price drops to the care rate. You can leave at any time and owe nothing more. To take the site itself, pay what’s left of the build and we hand over your design files.

Who owns the site?

Your domain, content and photos are yours from the start. The site runs on our platform, which is how it stays fast, secure and looked after. Once the build is paid off, at month 12, up front or when you leave, we’ll export everything whenever you ask.
