What we look at for a podiatry practice.

The details are different for every profession.

Why it’s free

It’s the quickest way for you to judge our work, and it’s the first step of building your site anyway. If you go ahead, the rebuild becomes your homepage.

  • Your services

The services people search for, like heel pain, nail surgery and orthotics.

  • For referrers

A referrer page showing what you treat and how to send a referral.

  • Where you work

Home visits and aged care, with your service area stated.

  • Fees and funding

Medicare, DVA, NDIS and private fees kept separate.

  • Two clear routes

Booking and referrals kept as two different actions.

Easier to book, and easier to refer to.

An illustrative before. The practice is fictional.Norton Street Podiatry is a fictional practice. Open the Live Example (opens in a new tab)

  1. Built for a desktop. Opened on a phone.

    • The whole page shrinks to fit the screen, so nothing can be read without zooming.
    • The phone number is there, but far too small to tap.
    • Booking means finding a contact form link in the third column.
  2. The same practice, rebuilt.

What was worth keeping is kept. Everything else is rebuilt around it.

  3. The tiles are the call to action.

    • There’s no competing hero button, which is the biggest structural break from the other builds.
    • Each tile names the symptom, not the service: “pain in the morning, or when you run”.
    • They’re 97 pixels tall with a 44 pixel icon, because this audience isn’t a precise tapper.
  4. Nine tiles, each its own page.

    • The grid overlaps the routing tiles on purpose: one routes, the other goes deep.
    • Named the way patients search, so “heel pain and plantar fasciitis” carries both.
    • Every tile leads to a page that can stand on its own.
  5. The answer to being upsold a $480 device.

    • Custom orthotics are recommended only where the evidence suggests they’ll help.
    • Sometimes better footwear or a few exercises do the job, and the page says so.
    • If a device is recommended, you get the reason, the price and the alternatives first.
  6. From-prices, with the duration beside them.

    • Initial consult, follow-up, nail surgery and orthotics, all published.
    • The orthotics price includes casting, fitting and a review, so nobody assumes hidden extras.
    • The exact figure is confirmed before treatment rather than implied by a headline price.
  7. The five subsidised visits are shared.

    • A chronic condition management plan covers up to five allied health visits a year, at roughly $63 back.
    • That five is shared across every allied health service, which patients usually discover at the counter.
    • The rebate is deliberately rounded, because it’s indexed every July.
  8. Two actions, deliberately equal.

    • The final screen repeats both, as two identical buttons.
    • A carer booking for a parent will often ring rather than fill anything in.
    • The footer states plainly that the practice is fictional.

Switching in

You forward two or three logins: your domain, your booking system, and your current host if you have one. We move the content, wire the booking system, set up redirects so Google keeps sending people to the right pages, and put it live. Your part is under an hour, total.

Switching back

Your old site stays where it is for 30 days after the new one goes live. If you’d rather have it back, for any reason, tell us and we point your domain at it the same day. You’re refunded in full and the care plan stops.

All Questions, Answered

The free rebuild

Why is it free?

It’s the fastest way for you to judge our work without committing to anything, and it’s step one of your site if you go ahead. The rebuild becomes your homepage.

Is it just a template?

No. It’s built from your practice’s own services, team, hours and booking setup, on a structure we’ve tested for podiatry practices. Joseph reviews every decision before it reaches you, and the video explains each one.

Do I have to talk to anyone?

No. You get the rebuild and the video by email and watch in your own time. If you’d rather talk, Joseph’s number is at the bottom of the page.

What happens to the rebuild if I say no?

Nothing. Keep the ideas and use them however you like. The preview link closes after 14 days, and we don’t publish it or show it to anyone without your permission.

We already have a web developer. Does that matter?

Not for the rebuild. Plenty of practices use it to see what’s possible before deciding who builds it. If you go ahead with us, we handle the move and your developer doesn’t need to be involved.

Going ahead

Will it work with our booking system?

Yes. We wire into Cliniko, Nookal, Halaxy, Zanda, Splose, coreplus or PracSuite, and build a separate referral route so a booking and a referral never get confused.

How much work is this for me?

Send your address, watch a two-minute video, say yes or no. If yes, forward the logins we ask for. We do the rest, including talking to your current host or booking provider if something needs untangling.

What happens to my current site?

Nothing, for 30 days. It stays live on its existing host so it’s there if you want it back. After that you can cancel the old hosting, or we’ll do it with you.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

We map every page on your old site to the right page on the new one before we switch, so links and search results keep landing somewhere sensible. Rankings move for all sorts of reasons, but a redirect map is what stops a move from being one of them.

What if I don’t like it once it’s live?

Say so within 30 days. We point your domain back at your old site, refund your website fees in full, and stop the care plan. No form, no reason required.

What’s the catch with the 12 months?

The first year pays off the build in monthly instalments, so there’s no large upfront cost. After 12 months the price drops to the care rate. If you leave early, you pay out the build that remains, and we hand over your content and design files.

Who owns the site?

Your domain, content and photos are yours from the start. The site runs on our platform, which is how it stays fast, secure and looked after. After month 12 we’ll export everything whenever you ask.
