What we look at for a medical centre.

The details are different for every profession.

Why it’s free

It’s the quickest way for you to judge our work, and it’s the first step of building your site anyway. If you go ahead, the rebuild becomes your homepage.

  • Who’s in today

Each GP, in or out, and the next time free.

  • Bulk billing

Who is bulk billed and what anyone else pays, said plainly.

  • Getting in

Online booking, same-day appointments and walk-ins, each explained.

  • After hours

Where to go when the clinic is closed, and when to call 000.

  • What’s on

Flu shots, skin checks and care plans, kept current.

A site that answers “can I get in today?” first.

  1. A site-builder page, with a pop-up on top.

    • A mailing list pop-up covers the page before anyone has read it.
    • Booking is somewhere under More.
    • The phone number and the hours are at the bottom, as plain text.
  2. The same business, rebuilt.

What was worth keeping is kept. Everything else is rebuilt around it.

  3. The first question answered by a board.

    • Each GP has a row: in or out today, and the next time free.
    • It reads like a station board, so it’s understood at a glance.
    • The same board shows the hours and after-hours.
  4. Who’s bulk billed, and what anyone else pays.

    • The billing policy is stated in one place, without small print.
    • Private fees are shown with the Medicare rebate explained beside them.
    • No extra charges on a bulk-billed visit, as Medicare requires.
  5. Book online, same day, or walk in.

    • Each way of getting an appointment is explained, with when it works best.
    • Online booking goes straight to the clinic’s system.
    • Telehealth is described with who can use it.
  6. When the clinic is closed, the page says where to go.

    • After-hours services and the nearest emergency department are on the board.
    • It changes with the clock.
    • 000 is there for emergencies, not buried in a footer.
  7. Each GP, with what they do most.

    • Every GP is named with their interests, written within the rules.
    • Languages spoken are listed.
    • “Specialist” appears only as “specialist general practitioner”.
  8. Flu shots, skin checks and care plans, on one board.

    • The board lists what the clinic offers, each with who does it and when.
    • Chronic condition and mental health plans are explained in a line each.
    • Each item links to booking the right appointment.

Built with Ahpra’s advertising guidelines in mind. No testimonials about clinical care, and the word “specialist” only in the form the Medical Board allows for GPs, “specialist general practitioner”.

Switching in

You forward two or three logins: your domain, your current host, and your booking or enquiry system if you use one. We move the content, connect that system, set up redirects so Google keeps sending people to the right pages, and put it live. Your part is under an hour, total.

Switching back

Your old site stays where it is for 30 days after the new one goes live. If you’d rather have it back, for any reason, tell us and we point your domain at it the same day. You’re refunded in full and the care plan stops.

The advertising rules

Built with Ahpra’s advertising guidelines in mind.

GPs are registered with the Medical Board, so the National Law’s advertising rules apply to every page, and Medicare sets what can be charged on a bulk-billed visit.

Read the Advertising Guides

  • No testimonials about care

Your Google rating can go on the site. Reviews that describe someone’s treatment stay on Google.

  • “Specialist”, the right way

A fellowed GP can be a “specialist general practitioner”; nobody becomes a “paediatric specialist”.

  • Bulk billing described correctly

No admin or consumables fee on a bulk-billed visit; only a vaccine’s supply can be charged.

  • Health information kept out of analytics

Booking reasons and symptoms never go to ad platforms.

You stay responsible for what your practice advertises, and we make it easier to get right.

All Questions, Answered

The free rebuild

Why is it free?

It’s the fastest way for you to judge our work without committing to anything, and it’s step one of your site if you go ahead. The rebuild becomes your homepage.

Is it just a template?

No. It’s built from your practice’s own services, team, hours and booking setup, on a structure designed for medical centres. Joseph reviews every decision before it reaches you, and the video explains each one.

Do I have to talk to anyone?

No. You get the rebuild and the video by email and watch in your own time. If you’d rather talk, Joseph’s number is at the bottom of the page.

What happens to the rebuild if I say no?

Nothing. Keep the ideas and use them however you like. The preview link closes after 7 days, and we don’t publish it or show it to anyone without your permission.

We already have a web developer. Does that matter?

Not for the rebuild. You can use it to see what’s possible before deciding who builds it. If you go ahead with us, we handle the move and your developer doesn’t need to be involved.

Going ahead

Will it work with our booking system?

Book Online goes to the booking page you already use, such as HotDoc or HealthEngine, or your practice system’s own booking page. We confirm how yours connects before you approve your design.

How much work is this for me?

Send your address, watch a two-minute video, say yes or no. If yes, forward the logins we ask for. We do the rest, including talking to your current host or booking provider if something needs untangling.

What happens to my current site?

Nothing, for 30 days. It stays live on its existing host so it’s there if you want it back. After that you can cancel the old hosting, or we’ll do it with you.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

We map every page on your old site to the right page on the new one before we switch, so links and search results keep landing somewhere sensible. Rankings move for all sorts of reasons, but a redirect map is what stops a move from being one of them.

What if I don’t like it once it’s live?

Say so within 30 days. We point your domain back at your old site, refund your website fees in full, and stop the care plan. No form, no reason required.

What’s the catch with the 12 months?

The first year pays off the build in monthly instalments, so there’s no large upfront cost. After 12 months the price drops to the care rate. If you leave early, you pay out the build that remains, and we hand over your content and design files.

Who owns the site?

Your domain, content and photos are yours from the start. The site runs on our platform, which is how it stays fast, secure and looked after. Once the build is paid off, at month 12 or up front, we’ll export everything whenever you ask.
