What we look at for a vet practice.

The details are different for every profession.

Why it’s free

It’s the quickest way for you to judge our work, and it’s the first step of building your site anyway. If you go ahead, the rebuild becomes your homepage.

  • Routine or urgent

Routine bookings online, with urgent concerns routed to the phone.

  • After-hours care

    After-hours arrangements stated clearly.

  • Requests and records

Repeat medication and records requests, with the right expectations.

  • Fees and claims

Consultation fees and how estimates and insurance claims work.

  • Client reviews

Your client reviews, shown on your own site.

An illustrative before. The practice is fictional.Showground Vet is a fictional practice. Open the Live Example (opens in a new tab)

  1. A stock theme with the clinic’s name on it.

    • The first screen is a stock photo and the word Welcome.
    • Booking is somewhere inside the menu.
    • The phone number and the hours are at the very bottom of the page.
  2. The same practice, rebuilt.

What was worth keeping is kept. Everything else is rebuilt around it.

  3. Routine care can book. Uncertainty can call.

    • The booking button is solid. The call button sits under it, for anyone whose pet is unwell.
    • An owner shouldn’t have to pick a diagnosis from a service menu to reach the right person.
    • The next available time appears underneath, so “how soon” is answered without a phone call.
  4. It changes with the clock.

    • In hours it says the clinic is open and dials the clinic.
    • After hours it hands over completely: the button dials the 24-hour hospital, with directions beside it.
    • A clinic number that rings out at 2am is worse than no number at all.
  5. The one build in the set that can use them.

    • Vets aren’t Ahpra-regulated, so the testimonial ban that stops the other professions doesn’t apply.
    • The real aggregate rating and a link to every review sit beside the quotes, so nothing reads as cherry-picked.
    • State and territory board codes still bar false, misleading or superiority claims.
  6. A published table, not the word “affordable”.

    • Cost is the reason owners delay a visit, so the fees sit high on the page.
    • “Affordable” means nothing and “cheapest” is a prohibited claim. Clear, upfront pricing is the swap.
    • Six from-prices, with a link to the full list.
  7. Qualifications, and their own pets.

    • Every vet is named, with their role and where they trained.
    • Each bio adds a human detail beside the credential: a soft spot for greyhounds, a kelpie called Dash.
    • Further down, registration is described as checkable on the state board register.
  8. The section that exists because of the workforce shortage.

    • Repeat prescription, food and tick prevention, new-client registration, vaccination records.
    • “Our phones are busiest between 8 and 10 in the morning” is more persuasive than calling it convenient.
    • A request goes to the team for review. It’s never an approval, and an unwell pet is sent to the phone.

You can do something your neighbours can’t. Vets are registered by state boards, not Ahpra, and none of them bans testimonials the way section 133 does for the dentist and physio nearby.

The fine print, up front.

Five promises, in writing, before you decide anything.

  1. Live within 14 days of sign-off, or your first month back.

  2. Nothing to pay until you’ve approved your design.

  3. Your old site stays up for 30 days after. Switch back for any reason and your website fees are refunded in full.

  4. A 12-month term, then the care rate. Leave early by paying out the remaining build.

  5. Your domain, content and photos are yours from day one.

Switching in

You forward two or three logins: your domain, your booking system, and your current host if you have one. We move the content, wire the booking system, set up redirects so Google keeps sending people to the right pages, and put it live. Your part is under an hour, total.

Switching back

Your old site stays where it is for 30 days after the new one goes live. If you’d rather have it back, for any reason, tell us and we point your domain at it the same day. You’re refunded in full and the care plan stops.

The advertising rules

You can do something your neighbours can’t.

Vets are registered by state boards, not Ahpra, and none of them bans testimonials the way section 133 does for the dentist and physio nearby.

Read the Advertising Guides

  • Your clients’ own words can go on your site

Provided they’re genuine and not cherry-picked.

  • Review requests skip euthanasia and end-of-life appointments

Or they don’t get switched on.

  • No prescription medicines advertised to the public

The rule that does bite. We build a refill request route rather than a shop.

All Questions, Answered

The free rebuild

Why is it free?

It’s the fastest way for you to judge our work without committing to anything, and it’s step one of your site if you go ahead. The rebuild becomes your homepage.

Is it just a template?

No. It’s built from your practice’s own services, team, hours and booking setup, on a structure we’ve tested for vet practices. Joseph reviews every decision before it reaches you, and the video explains each one.

Do I have to talk to anyone?

No. You get the rebuild and the video by email and watch in your own time. If you’d rather talk, Joseph’s number is at the bottom of the page.

What happens to the rebuild if I say no?

Nothing. Keep the ideas and use them however you like. The preview link closes after 14 days, and we don’t publish it or show it to anyone without your permission.

We already have a web developer. Does that matter?

Not for the rebuild. Plenty of practices use it to see what’s possible before deciding who builds it. If you go ahead with us, we handle the move and your developer doesn’t need to be involved.

Going ahead

Will it work with our booking system?

Yes. We wire into ezyVet, Provet Cloud, Covetrus or IDEXX Neo. On older systems like RxWorks or VisionVPM, we build the best route available and tell you what it can and can’t do.

How much work is this for me?

Send your address, watch a two-minute video, say yes or no. If yes, forward the logins we ask for. We do the rest, including talking to your current host or booking provider if something needs untangling.

What happens to my current site?

Nothing, for 30 days. It stays live on its existing host so it’s there if you want it back. After that you can cancel the old hosting, or we’ll do it with you.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

We map every page on your old site to the right page on the new one before we switch, so links and search results keep landing somewhere sensible. Rankings move for all sorts of reasons, but a redirect map is what stops a move from being one of them.

What if I don’t like it once it’s live?

Say so within 30 days. We point your domain back at your old site, refund your website fees in full, and stop the care plan. No form, no reason required.

What’s the catch with the 12 months?

The first year pays off the build in monthly instalments, so there’s no large upfront cost. After 12 months the price drops to the care rate. If you leave early, you pay out the build that remains, and we hand over your content and design files.

Who owns the site?

Your domain, content and photos are yours from the start. The site runs on our platform, which is how it stays fast, secure and looked after. After month 12 we’ll export everything whenever you ask.
