What we look at for an acupuncture clinic.

The details are different for every profession.

Why it’s free

It’s the quickest way for you to judge our work, and it’s the first step of building your site anyway. If you go ahead, the rebuild becomes your homepage.

  • The needles, explained

What it feels like, and that you can pause or stop, before booking.

  • The full fee

First visit, return and reassessment, each with its length and price.

  • Registration you can check

Registered acupuncturist, with the link to the Ahpra register.

  • Concerns, not cures

What people come about, without a list of diseases.

  • Funds and Medicare

Extras cover depends on the policy; Medicare only through a doctor.

A site that talks a nervous first-timer through the needles.

  1. Built for a desktop. Opened on a phone.

    • The whole page shrinks to fit the screen, so nothing can be read without zooming.
    • The phone number is there, but far too small to tap.
    • Booking means finding a contact form link in the third column.
  2. The same business, rebuilt.

What was worth keeping is kept. Everything else is rebuilt around it.

  3. A hair-fine line ties the page together.

    • A single fine thread runs from the hero down the whole page.
    • Each door and section is knotted onto it.
    • Its fineness stands in for the needles, so there’s no needle photo.
  4. Talk first, then decide.

    • The first visit starts with a conversation at the same height, not on the bed.
    • What happens is described step by step.
    • Saying no to needles is an option, and the page says so.
  5. What it feels like, in plain words.

    • The sensations are described honestly, never as painless.
    • You can pause or stop at any point.
    • Nervous first-timers get their own answers.
  6. Every appointment with its length and price.

    • First visit, return and reassessment are priced separately.
    • Cupping is part of an assessed treatment, not an add-on to buy.
    • Extras cover depends on the policy, and Medicare only pays through a doctor.
  7. What people come about, and the limits.

    • People find their concern in plain words.
    • There is no list of diseases acupuncture is said to treat.
    • Working alongside a GP is part of the picture.
  8. Registered acupuncturist, with the link to check.

    • The practitioner is named with the exact qualification.
    • Registration is shown by division, with a link to the Ahpra register.
    • No “Dr”, no “specialist”, no testimonials.

Built with Ahpra’s advertising guidelines in mind. No testimonials about treatment, no “specialist” (Chinese medicine has no specialist categories), and no list of diseases presented as things acupuncture treats.

Switching in

You forward two or three logins: your domain, your current host, and your booking or enquiry system if you use one. We move the content, connect that system, set up redirects so Google keeps sending people to the right pages, and put it live. Your part is under an hour, total.

Switching back

Your old site stays where it is for 30 days after the new one goes live. If you’d rather have it back, for any reason, tell us and we point your domain at it the same day. You’re refunded in full and the care plan stops.

The advertising rules

Built with Ahpra’s advertising guidelines in mind.

Acupuncturists are registered with the Chinese Medicine Board through Ahpra, so the National Law’s advertising rules apply, and acupuncturist is a protected title.

Read the Advertising Guides

  • No testimonials about treatment

Your Google rating can go on the site. Reviews that describe someone’s treatment stay on Google.

  • No “specialist”

Chinese medicine has no specialist categories, so interests are described as interests.

  • Registration by division

Acupuncture, herbal medicine and dispensing are separate, and the page says which.

  • Concerns, not cures

What people come about and its limits, never a list of diseases.

You stay responsible for what your practice advertises, and we make it easier to get right.

All Questions, Answered

The free rebuild

Why is it free?

It’s the fastest way for you to judge our work without committing to anything, and it’s step one of your site if you go ahead. The rebuild becomes your homepage.

Is it just a template?

No. It’s built from your practice’s own services, team, hours and booking setup, on a structure designed for acupuncture clinics. Joseph reviews every decision before it reaches you, and the video explains each one.

Do I have to talk to anyone?

No. You get the rebuild and the video by email and watch in your own time. If you’d rather talk, Joseph’s number is at the bottom of the page.

What happens to the rebuild if I say no?

Nothing. Keep the ideas and use them however you like. The preview link closes after 7 days, and we don’t publish it or show it to anyone without your permission.

We already have a web developer. Does that matter?

Not for the rebuild. You can use it to see what’s possible before deciding who builds it. If you go ahead with us, we handle the move and your developer doesn’t need to be involved.

Going ahead

Will it work with our booking system?

Book Online goes to the booking page you already use, from systems like Cliniko or Zanda. We confirm how yours connects before you approve your design, with first visits, returns and reassessments as separate booking types.

How much work is this for me?

Send your address, watch a two-minute video, say yes or no. If yes, forward the logins we ask for. We do the rest, including talking to your current host or booking provider if something needs untangling.

What happens to my current site?

Nothing, for 30 days. It stays live on its existing host so it’s there if you want it back. After that you can cancel the old hosting, or we’ll do it with you.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

We map every page on your old site to the right page on the new one before we switch, so links and search results keep landing somewhere sensible. Rankings move for all sorts of reasons, but a redirect map is what stops a move from being one of them.

What if I don’t like it once it’s live?

Say so within 30 days. We point your domain back at your old site, refund your website fees in full, and stop the care plan. No form, no reason required.

What’s the catch with the 12 months?

The first year pays off the build in monthly instalments, so there’s no large upfront cost. After 12 months the price drops to the care rate. If you leave early, you pay out the build that remains, and we hand over your content and design files.

Who owns the site?

Your domain, content and photos are yours from the start. The site runs on our platform, which is how it stays fast, secure and looked after. Once the build is paid off, at month 12 or up front, we’ll export everything whenever you ask.
